Privacy
PermitWire uses the information needed to operate public permit browsing, secure account access, watchlists, alert delivery, billing, and Lead Desk workflow.
What we collect
- Account email, authentication events, and service-territory choices.
- Watchlist rules, alert delivery status, saved leads, notes, follow-ups, and outcomes you enter.
- Basic attribution and product events used to measure activation and support pilots.
- Public permit and source metadata from the City of San José and other disclosed sources.
How we use it
We use account data to provide the requested product, keep alerts explainable, prevent duplicate or unauthorized delivery, measure reliability, and respond to support or correction requests. We do not describe public permit records as private customer data.
Optional signal, lifecycle, growth, product-news, and human-help messages have separate controls. Required sign-in, security, service-state, and payment messages are handled separately.
